A graduate of Blackpool and the Fylde College, Abigail spent several years working for the Greek environmental NGO Archipelagos. As the main illustrator, she observed and recorded the wealth of marine life she found while snorkelling in the eastern Aegean sea. While working for Archipelagos, Abigail's illustrations were used as identification guides, environmental education teaching materials and conservation-awareness posters. Several of her illustrations were also published alongside articles in national newspapers and magazines.

Now London-based, Abigail has worked on fiction books and editorial work, including a cover image produced for Nature journal.

Abigail works in pen and ink, gouache, acrylics and oils. She also does all her own post-production work on Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter.
