Amon Alt-Jafarbay is a graduate of Scientific & Natural History Illustration from Blackpool and the Fylde College. Born and based in Brighton, Amon works as a freelance illustrator and designer with a keen interest in nature and biology.

Watercolours are the dominant medium in Amon's work, but he also works in acrylics, oils, pen and digital imaging software. He is currently working at JAG Studios on Brighton seafront, an open studio and gallery where the public are welcome to come and see artists at work.
