Anna Coe grew up in Kenya, where she nurtured a love for the vast array of wildlife in Africa's National Parks. Returning to the UK, she studied illustration at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth, focusing predominantly on natural history and wildlife illustration.

Anna chooses to work in a photorealistic style almost exclusively by hand, in pencil and colour pencil. Commissions to date revolve mainly around an agricultural theme, providing a series of images to the World Agroforestry Centre, as well as The International Livestock Research Institute based in East Africa.
