Cheryl Medow's images are derived from her work as a nature photographer. Her creations reveal wildlife in their habitat and have an elegance and painterly quality that is brought about by using several different images that are melded together and enhanced through the art of the 21st-century digital darkroom.

Her passion is to observe the world more closely; to involve her eye in the colour, light, reflections and patterns in nature.

She lives in Santa Monica, California, having graduated from the University of California with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her photographs have been shown at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica and have won several awards in gallery competitions and have appeared in numerous publications.
