



Born in Accrington, Lancashire, Dr Jeremy Paul had a successful career in marine biology before becoming a professional and award-winning wildlife artist. A completely self-taught artist, he works in acrylics, developing the painting in many layers of paint and glazes to alter the tone and atmosphere of the work.
He has travelled extensively in India, Africa, North America, Antarctica and the Arctic, and has had many one-man exhibitions. His work is in the collection of ‘Nature in Art’, the International Centre for Wildlife Art Gloucester, UK, where he is part of their artist in residence programme. He publishes his own range of Limited and open edition wildlife-art-prints. Awards include BBC Wildlife 'Artist of the Year 2010' ('British Mammals' Category Winner) and Wildscape Magazine's 'Wildlife Artist of the Year 2008'.
He now lives with his wife and two children on the Isle of Man.
