Lucy Molleson has worked in wildlife conservation for more than 15 years, on projects as diverse as raising awareness for South American river dolphins to setting up a rescue centre in the Peruvian amazon for critically endangered yellow tailed woolly monkeys. Lucy's passion for the natural world led her to study Natural History Illustration at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design, which she followed up with a degree in Anthropology from Cambridge and post graduate study in Primate Conservation.
Lucy has recently been commissioned to work on a series of illustrations of little-known primate taxa, which have not yet been photographed, working from descriptions provided by experts in the field. She is hoping to one day see some of these elusive animals first hand in the wild, and decide for herself whether or not 'agouti brown' is a real colour!
