





Zoologist Nick, Garbutt is an illustrator and wildlife photographer, best-selling author, lecturer and wildlife tour leader. He regularly contributes to a wide range of magazines such as National Geographic, Africa Geographic, BBC Wildlife and Outdoor Photography.
Nick produces ink drawings of wildlife, generally using his own photos as reference. These are used in his books to complement his photography. He also sells originals and prints of his work. In 2009, he was a finalist in the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year competition.
Nick's books include: the acclaimed Mammals of Madagascar: A Complete Guide (A&C Black, 2007); 100 Animals to See Before They Die (Bradt Travel Guides, 2007); Wild Borneo (New Holland, 2006); Madagascar Wildlife: A Visitor’s Guide (Bradt Travel Guides, 2008).
