Born in Hamburg Germany, Rebecca Robinson grew up in Finland, Africa and America. Her passion for the natural world led her to seek further education in Australia, graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology in 1998 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honours in Wildlife Illustration, at the University of Newcastle in 1999.
Rebecca joined the art and graphics department of the Marine Science Institute, University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) in USA.
Since then Rebecca has expanded her work to include natural science illustration, fine art, photography, graphic design and cartography. Despite the persistent demand for illustration work and travel photography jobs, she maintains a strong desire for further creative expression, artistic growth and independence within her own art and photography. She has sold her work to private collectors, learning institutions and has been published internationally.
Rebecca lives and works from her studio home in Daylesford, Victoria, Australia.
