Thomas Whitehouse is a self-taught wildlife artist from South Devon. He came to wildlife illustration after several years working as a freelance artist creating digital art for a wide range of clients.

Going back to basics, he combined a strong technical ability with a lifelong interest in the natural world and now works in a detailed naturalistic pencil style. Initially focusing on ornithological studies, he has successfully branched out into more diverse subject matter including mammals, plants and insects.
